Poofy (the “app”) takes your privacy seriously and complies with applicable data-protection laws. This policy explains what information the app processes and how. Poofy transforms a photo you choose into stylized character images.

Only when you actively run a conversion are the selected photo and your inputs (style, custom note, birth year) sent through our server to the AI model and turned into a result image. The result is returned to you, and the original photo and inputs are not stored on the server after processing. Result images and inputs are kept on your device only, for the gallery and re-conversion.
Era personalization is optional. The birth year you enter is stored locally on your device only and pre-fills on the next conversion; it is not kept as a server profile. When you run a conversion, the year is sent to the server for that request only, used solely to reflect the period in the result, and is not stored or logged on the server. We do not collect month, day, or a full date of birth. Leave the field blank and nothing is sent — the result is generated with a modern feel.
The app processes some information through the services below, which may involve transfer to servers abroad.
On-device data (result images, inputs, birth year) is deleted immediately when you uninstall the app. The original photo and inputs used for a conversion are discarded right after processing and not kept on the server. Usage records (device identifier, counts) are retained only as long as needed to prevent abuse.
You can change photo-access and ad-tracking permissions in your device settings at any time, clear inputs such as birth year in the app, or delete all on-device data by uninstalling the app. To access, correct, or delete processed information, contact us below.
This app is not directed to children under 14 and does not knowingly collect their personal information.
We apply transport encryption (HTTPS), secure server-side storage of sensitive data such as AI keys, and least-privilege access controls.
